Purchase a month ago and really like it. Very easy to use. Lots of neat features. Had a Coolpix for years but it was frustrating ...limited zoom and a delayed shutter reaction that always seemed to capture the photo one second after everyone quit smiling. So many neat features on this. Recommend highly downloading the manual from Canon because it gives greater details and instructions. Recommend it for anyone who doesn't want to spend months learning a bunch of features but wants more than a "point and shoot" camera.
Great sized little camera with powerful zoom. Have not yet managed to get the wifi linkage with my laptop - finding the instructions somewhat lacking. Resorted to YouTube. Battery has to be charged more often than my last camera, may need a second one for backup.
I wish I was able to try one before I bough it. When used outside, it is nearly impossible to see what you are photographing. If you zoom in to your subject and you are outside, forget about seeing it in the viewfinder. I would suggest that you buy a camera that doesn't use a screen like your smart phone to focus on your picture because you will not be able to. Please do not buy this camera unless you are shooting in the shade or inside.
