This climber is a very good entry level tree climber stand. There will be two extra straps that are not identified and isn't right away apparent what they are for. They are used to lash the two halves together when you are transporting it. Unit can be pretty noisy unless you replace the hand bolts. Then it quites down nicely. Carrying it as a backpack might seem uncomfortable at first but after about 5 minutes I hardly noticed it was there. Assembled and in position this unit feels very solid. You will need to "lock" it in place with the straps that connect the top and bottom halves. PRACTICE AT HOME a few times before going into the woods. The seat is not as comfortable as I would have thought, but that might be that I have not found the right adjustment yet. This is not bad enough to lower a star. Al in all, this is a good unit and stays put where you want it as long as you take the time to learn how to work it.
