I shared this pack with my daughter, and we're both very impressed! I love the clean lines and large eraser, as well as the gel grip. I use it in my ledger, and it's nice to have a consistent thickness and uniformity in all my entries. My daughter uses it to outline her drawings, and is happy at how cleanly it erases without tearing up the paper. We both are impressed with the lead, which doesn't snap as easily as other pencils we have tried. We were happy to try the Bic Velocity Mechanical pencils for free as part of a promotion, and I will definitely buy them again.
This is hands down one of the best mechanical pencils I've ever used. I got this product for free in exchange for my honest review and here it is...I really wish I'd had this in high school during history class when you're taking page after page of notes. It's such a joy to use; the lead doesn't break off, the eraser is smudge free and the comfort grip is super soft and squishy. And the turquoise color is beautiful! Get this for the person in your life is constantly writing (or even making mistakes, lol) This pencil is up for the challenge! #EmbraceTheErase. Also, the extra erasers that come with the pencils are a HUGE bonus! Get this pencil now and you won't be sorry!
Ever since I was in high school I have loved using mechanical pencils. There was always a sharp point and I didn't have to go looking for a pencil sharpener. For me, the one thing I wanted to know before getting the BIC Velocity Mechanical Pencils was how readily available the lead refills would be. There is nothing worse than running out of lead and not being able to find the correct lead refill. Thankfully, refills are easily located. I had my son try it out first. And he loved them, especially the different colors (not the pink because it was too girly for him) and the cushion grip, as he tends to hold pencils and pens with a tight grip (me too). Our inventory of stubby pencils have finally decreased! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
