I love my making my expresso this way but go for atleast the 3 cup unless you use gas heat. The pot is so small the handle gets super hot. I did order the 3 and 6 cup and no issues.

Customer reviews & ratings
Love it, but go bigger
Wish we have met sooner!
This coffee maker makes the best coffee I have ever tried. I have bought several coffee makers and The Moka Pot beats them all! The 3 cup produces 100ml of coffee. You MUST follow the instructions correctly and use the recommended amount of coffee to get optimal results. No more coffee capsules for me!
Quicker than ordering at a coffee shop
Why haven't I bought this long time ago ?
If you like strong hot coffee this is the best. It says on the box it makes 12 cups ( it must mean small cups of espresso). The reality is it makes 2-3 large cups of amazing coffee. (Think Americana) I use espresso beans which I grind daily for best and freshest taste.

Coffee the way it was intended to taste.
I like it a lot better than those expensive coffee makers made with plastic that the heat produced by the machine can be harmful for your health and makes the coffee have a chemical taste. This system is far superior and preserves the flavor of the coffee as it was intended. I am proud to say I am from Colombia where the best coffee is grown, and I can tell the difference with this Bialetti 9 cup stove top that my mother use to have 30 years ago. If you are a connoisseur of great coffee then you need this coffee maker. Brew one pot and you will be surprised by the distinct aroma just how good this coffee maker is even before you take your first sip! If you like the finer things in life why not brew your coffee in the finest way?
Old school moka pot. Simple design that probably hasn't changed much in decades. Makes some nice strong coffee on the stove top. This is good for regularly second 2-3 people. If you plan to use it for single serve, buy a smaller one.

Great Moka pot
I have had their Moka pots since 1962, when my grandfather brought a new pot back from Italy. Have used the same maker ever since. I love the 12 cup,use it daily.
Works fine in the beginning but does not last
It works perfectly in the beginning, but until one day it starts acting up. Typically there is a rubber band in the middle piece that melts at lower temperature than the metal and little by little it deteriorates, until the water starts dripping from the side in the middle when going up. This drops on the underneath stove. It lasted for around 1000 utilizations.
Defective! Poor quality
Brought this from Walmart online. Do note that material is food-safe aluminum. After washing (with 1st use) noticed that rubber gasket formed incomplete seal resulting in leaking during brewing. On inspection, gasket looked like it was made of rubber that had started to harden and become brittle. Within first use also noticed that handle was rattling and loose. Due to construction, no way to
tighten. Promptly returned to a walmart store. Got a similar unit from K.S.P. Half the price with no defects.
Please don't buy this!
Incredibly disappointed by the quality of this product! I ended returning it after trying very hard to like it for a week... nope, back to my old one! This Bialetti Espresso Maker is not the quality I would expect from THE original brand. It's lightweight and it feels cheap, not sturdy like my old one. The parts feel flimsy and they won't stay in place until you screw them very tight. The coffee container is bigger than I would expect, so to have my usual strong coffee, I need to use more coffee than with my old one, for the same amount of coffee in my cup... nonsense! Please don't buy this!
