The backlight display makes the screen even easier to read in low light. If an irregular heart rate is detected while measuring, a heartbeat icon will flash. If this appears often, could be a sign of arrhythmia or afib (atrial fibrillation), so follow up with a licensed medical professional. The cuff position indicator will show an "OK" symbol on the display to let you know the cuff is in the correct position for a reading. For best results, it is recommended to rest for 5 minutes before taking your blood pressure.
