Better Homes and Gardens Rustic Wood Candle Holder Lantern, Medium

I love the rustic look, 2 have to be replaced due to damages but you can't see it from the because its damage in the back and the door falls off on the small one. Guess FedEx wasn't as careful as they should of been with glass items. But I love it can't wait for my replacements to come in.

I chose to review this beautiful decorative lantern as part of the Spark Reviewer program. I received a medium size lantern in weathered wood, which is a lighter color. The lantern is about 17 inches tall and will fit a 6 inch candle (which is not included with the lantern). It has a beautiful metal top with a ring handle. It has a really nice, rustic look which will go well with most decorations. I plan to use mine more around the holidays with different colored candles as a decorative piece in my living room. I recommend this lantern and will likely purchase the smaller size as an accent piece.

I love them . I had bought three of the rustic Lanterns for a wedding. I had my small one that didn't come in , and when ,I called them , they had another one ship to me. It wasn't long ,and I got my small one. They are the right color. If this is what you like it , I would get them again. They did not come in damage. They are perfect.. Thank you so much Walmart

I received the Better Home and Gardens large rustic planter for review. It's very nice! I really like it and it looks really pretty on our porch. It's surprisingly light, and actually might be a little too light. It has a heavy metal base and top, but the wood is a really lightweight wood. I think it could be nicer if they had a sturdier wood, but it's just for decoration purposes so it is fine. I plan on getting a solar powered fake candle to put inside it to light up our entryway at night. I love the size and design. I think it's a great addition to our porch. I would recommend it.

I received the Better Homes And Gardens Rustic Lantern in the Medium size to review how it works in my home. First off, it is larger than I was thinking for medium. It matches the measurements given, so it was my miscalculation of size. It is well made, the stain color is neutral enough to go with any wood tones you prefer. The latch on the door is a little tricky to align properly for open and closing. I purchased a flameless candle separately to put in it, it looks very pretty. It's not too rustic in my opinion if that's not your thing. The galvanized top portion is very greyed down- so it doesn't scream farmhouse, but would go nicely that way. I have an aqua flameless candle in it and it looks great with my beach decor. I would not set it outside in an unprotected area, I don't think it would hold up to that. Would go nicely on a mantel, I have it sitting on a sofa table. I would purchase this in another size to create a nice grouping. It will definitely look nice styled for holidays- that is my plan.

This lantern is absolutely beautiful! It is quite tall, 18.5" and can use a 6" pillar candle. It is rustic style and has got galvanized metal on the bottom and the ventilated top. The wood is beautiful, looks like cedar even though it's not. I love that I can place up to 3 or 4 candles in it and use it as a decor piece, or place an extra large candle and let it burn in it. The galvanized bottom doesn't allow the wax to burn up the lantern which is a smart way to have this lantern designed. The only issue that I came across is the latch that takes a hard pull to get locked in, as it seems like it is either installed too far away from a desired spot or the door is too short, it locks in but you kinda have to tug it to get it closed tightly. Overall I really like and enjoy using this lantern as a new piece of decor in my home. I have gotten a couple of compliments on it already in just a few days, definitely an eye catcher!

I liked the look of Better Homes And Gardens Small Rustic Lantern and I felt it would look perfect in my old farmhouse. The directions state to use a 3"x3" pillar candle and at the moment I don't have one, so for the purpose of checking out how it would look where I want to put it, I used a slightly higher pillar, keeping an eye on the candle at all times.

It comes with the usual smart directions, keep out of reach of children and pets, keep burning candles in sight, which I always do, and do not burn longer than 2 hours at a time. I find these directions especially important because this lantern is made of wood and glass.

The latch to close the door I found a bit confusing and if not pushed in properly, it will not latch. It took a few attempts to get it to close. The door seemed a little short of the frame and that appeared to be the problem. Once closed, it held securely.

There is a piece of what appears to be galvanized metal on the bottom, but it does not reach out completely to the door. It is also what the top, vented portion appears to be made of. It's very nice looking but I wish the recommended size candle had been included.

The lanterns are beautiful, larger than I thought they would be. The packaging was very poor, they were just set in a large box, no protection. One of the lanterns was on top and the glass was broken, along with some of the wooden panes. I would like this lantern replaced, but not sure how to make this happen. I would appreciate your help to rectify this problem.
