The first thing I noticed about these curtains upon receipt was their texture: it's stiff, very much like fabric for outdoor pillows and cushions. They're not at all silky but ... scritchy. They have a sheen to them, too. They are quite heavy and well made, though. Second, the pattern - the scroll - does not have crisp edges. The pattern appears kinda ... fuzzy, like it's bled outside the lines, and is two different colors of blue with tan. The background is silver in some places and creamy in others (I thought it looked white in the pix online). My son said they look like they're "straight out of the 80s," which I can see to a certain degree. Because the material is so weird and stiff, the curtains don't drape nicely from the rod. I'm hoping that will change over time as the weight of the curtains themselves pulls them into shape. Bottom line, I'm keeping them because I don't HATE them. I'm just not IN LOVE WITH them.
