I purchased two of the lamps in the picture a couple of years ago at Walmart. When my kids broke one of them a few weeks ago, I was glad to see they were still available online. I ordered one and had to return it because it is NOT the color that is shown in the listing online. The photo shows a lamp that is dark--almost black--with rubbed edges which appear to be a bronze color (which is exactly what I already owned). However, the lamp I received was an allover metallic brown/bronze finish. Walmart should get the correct photo listed with this item.

I've been looking for a 3 way lamp to use as a bedside lamp without taking up too much space on the nightstand. This base is great, but I can't use it with the supplied bulb, as it doesn't fit within the harp that holds my lampshade. Hopefully I can find some other use for the bulb that came with it.
