I have owned serving tray's, that had short sides, and tiny handles, that made it hard to carry while it is full, so I could only carry two-three glasses at a time, and if I wasn't careful, I would end up with one or more glasses on the floor because of short sides, they were cute but not practical, too narrow for anything else, and I'd have to make several trips at a time, they were just taking up room in my cabinets, so I got rid of them.
This serving tray is made by Better Homes & Gardens, it has nice tall 4" antiqued gray sides, made from a unique wire mesh, and a sturdy 16 x 10 ½ bottom, made from MDF wood in a medium brown color finish, attached with six screws across the bottom of the tray. The handles, are 2 ½ tall they are wide enough for your hands to grasp with comfort. It's not only sturdy, but it has a contemporary style. I have a special place on my wall to hang by one of its handles, so that it's convenient to grab when I need it, and that will leave room in my cabinet. As you can see in the picture it can hold up to 12, 16 oz cups. There is plenty of room for serving multiple drinks, desserts, snacks etc. with no spillage.
