Better Homes & Gardens 1" Pewter Boule Adjustable Curtain Rod, 36-66"

These were exactly what I was looking for to use with grommet curtains for large windows. They are sturdy and easy to put up. Nice quality for the price!

The rod extended just as advertised and went even a bit further. I have a very large window and this was my major concern. It comes with all the hardware to hang and has a center brace to hold center of rod if needed for use with heavier curtains. The rod itself is slender which I found great for the curtain type I picked. (panels that thread the rod through the top) Also, the picture does not do justice to the ornament ends which in person seem a bit bigger to me therefore in my opinon makes it look like you spent a bit more than you really did.

I bought this rod in the store. It never caught my eye online, but it's very beautiful in person. It is sturdy, my boys pull on the curtains all day and it's still intact. Only bad thing about this rod is that if you extend it as far as it will go, it does sag in the middle. :( It looks pretty bad. I am going to replace this with the larger size.

These are beautiful, heavy duty and simple to hang. Highly recommend.

I thought this curtain rod looked nice online and the price was good. It was a great purchase. The rod is very well made and looks very nice. I purchased adjustable brackets so the rod could be extended over another pair of drapes. I’m very happy with my purchase.

I guess I didn’t read the description well enough because the ball at the end was way larger than I expected. I was fooled by the 1inch description, which describes the rod and not the ball. It’s really too big for my simple bedroom curtain Also the color is a lot darker than the photo. That said, the quality of the product was very good. I would recommend this for drapes.

The only problem with the set up is that we had to have a middle support and the patio curtain was a large curtain and you can not open the it past the middle because of the middle bracket.

I like this rod. It's beautifully designed for the price you pay. The only thing is when you extend it beyond a certain width it starts to bend in the middle and you definitely need a third support bracket to hold the rod steady, and unfortunately Better Homes only provides two brackets in this package. I really think they need to provide three brackets in this package for anyone to use this rod. I have a single frame window and it's not even that wide. So unless you have a very narrow window, this rod will likely bend in the middle at which point you'll have to run down to your local hardware store (like I did) and buy one to match it. Overall I would've given it a 5 star but it ended up costing me a hassle I didn't need. Plus technically with a rod that can extend out to a width this one can, the manufacturer should have provided 3 support brackets.

The box was labeled pewter but the color is much darker than the product photo. It was not silver colored but more dark gray. Fortunately the darker color still worked okay for us and we are happy with the rods.
