I bought this treadmill after extensive research into them. I didn't want a huge one, with all the bells and whistles, nor did I want one with a motor. My only concern with this one was the incline. When I got it my husband put it together and right away noticed the issue with the instructions, they are a bit backwards, so he just reversed most of them and it went easy. It has the meter which shows time, speed, distance and calories. That was plenty. It shuts off automatically when you stop using it and starts when you start. I wanted this treadmill so I could keep walking during the winter months, 20 years ago I fell down icy stairs and have been battling back, leg and neck issues since. I can't do a lot of exercising but I try to walk every day. The incline was too much with this, but like others suggested you can place a 2x6 in the back by the legs to lessen the degree of the incline. It will help but you will have to work harder to make it go. That was fine for me and now I am using this treadmill daily, I only use it for 15 minute intervals for 4 times a day at the moment, but have to build up slowly so I don't hurt myself. All in all, this thing is perfect, I am extremely happy that I bought it. Oh, it is very easy to move around as well, I am not allowed to lift over 5 lbs and I can easily collapse and roll this away.
