Bell Flat Defense Road Bike Tire, 26" x 1-3/8", Black

I needed two new tires for my bike. Went online and Walmart seemed the most reasonable so I placed the order and picked them up when it was time. I called ahead and when I arrived for pickup a young courteous man brought the package to my car and thanked me. It was seamless.

Replaced some knobby mountain bike tires with these Bell Comfort Glide tires. I wanted a little bit smoother ride as most of my riding is asphalt trails and packed gravel trails. These Bell tires are definitely smoother but also a little less grippy than my old tires if you do encounter some loose gravel or sand. As long as you are aware of this there is no issues when riding. This is the first time I have ever used a boxed tire and was pleasantly surprised as to how they regained their round shape once released from their zip ties. I don't know if it was necessary but I left them out in the sun for a couple of days in order for them to fully return to their original pre-packaged shape. Tire irons are a must to install these as they were a very tight fit on my rims. I can't vouch for their longevity or the effectiveness of the Flat Defense technology but so far I have put about 100km on these tire and have had no issues. Were a great price at Walmart and received free shipping as well. Shipping was super fast and I received them the day after placing the order.
