- You basically have to unscrew the end of the pump, pull out the Presta parts, then re-assemble the pump. There's a diagram of how to do this on the packaging. Haven't actually done it so I don't know how easy it is.by JefftheAntiqueTVowner8/2/2016Was this answer helpful? (1) (1)Was this answer helpful?
- On the Bell Airstrike 500 Frame pump, you have to unscrew the pump's head that attaches to the valve, dig out the plastic piece that pushes down on the valve, pull it out and turn it over and reinsert it. I worked with it for two hours before I discovered it. I even went on YouTube and couldn't figure it out. Be careful as you pump! The third time I used it for my Presta valve I was in a rush and as I removed the pump, I snapped the head off of my Presta valve by pulling too hard at an angle to remove the pump. Now I have to buy another inner tube.by Longform6/16/2016Was this answer helpful? (5) (0)Was this answer helpful?
