    Helps alot!

I have been using this now for over a week and it seems to be really helping at night to help me sleep without having acid run up in my throat. I bought this because I still wanted to be able to sleep on my mattress instead of a wedge that was almost the same price as this entire incline. And a wedge seems to me that eventually there is going to be pressure on your hips if you are a side sleeper, and I'd say you could forget about sleeping comfortably on your stomach. With the Beautyrest Geo Incline you can sleep any way that you want. It's very easy to "install", all you need is someone to help you lift your mattress and put the incline right on top of the box spring and there you have it. You can also put it on top of your mattress if you prefer. It took me a few nights to get used to being inclined instead of laying flat, but now it doesn't bother me. This really works if you're like me and like your mattress. This was a good buy!

5 stars as a mattress elevator (not a topper).

If a wanted to use this as a mattress topper I would be very disappointed. This same product is advertised on some websites as a mattress elevator, and others as a mattress topper. Many of the photos show it between the mattress and the box spring (where it belongs). I have acid reflux and I need to raise the head of my bed 4-6 inches higher than the foot of the bed. This works perfectly for that purpose. When I first opened the package and let it air out for 24 hours I was certain it was too soft and flimsy to go under the mattress. I thought it would definitely get compressed under the weight of the mattress. I almost returned it without even trying it. I was shocked when I put it under my mattress and it kept it's form. Now I have the perfect incline of 5" from the head of my bed to the foot. My sheet still goes on my mattress like it always did because the sheet does not have to go over this product. I don't slide to the bottom of the bed because the incline is gradual over the length of the entire bed. It is way better than those wedge pillows that only work on the top 24" of the bed. Those never work for side or stomach sleepers because they hurt the neck and back. I am very happy with this product (as a mattress elevator).

    Works best UNDER the mattress

I purchased this because of my GERD problem. I was skeptical that it would support the weight of my tempurpedic mattress without being crushed but I bought it anyway figuring I could just return it if it did not work out. I waited a day before putting it on my bed to give it enough time to expand from being shrunk for packaging. The instructions say 5 days or so, but I think you would be fine after just a few hours. I waited a day just in case it would fluff up a little more. I also noticed that this foam is much lighter than previous mattress toppers I have owned. I also noticed the smell that others have commented on. It was about the same as what I have experienced with previous foam toppers, and seemed almost entirely gone by the next day. My wife, two teenagers, and I moved the Queen-sized tempurpedic mattress off the bed, put the topper in place on top of the box spring (foundation), and then put the mattress back in place. I measured the foam at the head of the bed and it was only compressed by less than 1/4 inch by the heavy mattress. I cannot imagine why this is marketed as a "topper". It does not seem like it would be that comfortable and I can certainly see why others would say it is not durable. However, it works perfectly under the mattress and in my opinion that is where it should go. For an under-the-mattress bed incliner, I give this 5 stars!

    uber comfy!!

I have 4 dejenerated Discs in my lower back and have fibromyalgia, this makes laying down a "dream!" I love it and would purchase another when ever this one wears out!!

    Just as described

I have been using this for 2 weeks now and love it. I have sleep apnea and GERD. What a difference this has made. Very comfortable and a great alternative to those uncomfortably hard awkward wedge pillows. It's also helped with my lower back pain. I would highly recommend this product.

Excellent value for achieving plush pillow-top

Very economical way of creating a luxurious pillow-top feeling to a standard mattress. Wonderful feeling of softness, but perhaps not the best for somebody with lower back problems, though this is only a guess.

    Great Inclined Mattress Topper!

This inclined mattress topper has really helped my wife who used to sleep with 3-4 pillows to achieve an inclined position to enable her to breath easily. This inclined topper really helps plus it has reduced her snoring! She says it has reduced my snoring also. Supposed to be a big help for people with acid reflux issues also.

Too firm for a lighweight person.

First, I am not sure this is a Beautyrest topper because there was no a single label saying that name. The product description slip said Louisville Bedding. Nevertheless, the foam was a good quality, did not smell, was surprisingly lightweight and soft to touch (gets 3 stars for this). At the thicker (upper body area) end, however, it provided very firm support, more firm than I hoped for. At 125 Lb, I apparently is too light to sleep on this topper. My shoulders did very little indent into the topper, and the topper therefore felt hard and uncomfortable. I actually woke up with painful shoulders next morning and the following 5 mornings that I was trying to get used to the topper, hence 1 star. My butt has experienced the most comfort as it apparently had enough weight to sink in a bit, but not enough to support the lower back area: I could slide my hand between my lower back (waistline level) and the topper with no problem. I was most comfortable when I put sheet directly on the topper. Putting a mattress pad in between sheet and the topper made the topper feel even harder, but without the topper I felt every square of the foam, which was weird. Being bigger and heavier, my husband had no problems with the topper hardiness, but could not deal with the feeling of sliding down, even though he was not actually sliding that much. We did not notice any health benefits. I am glad Walmart took it back with no questions asked.

    Just as described

Inclined mattress pad is very helpful with reflux and general bed comfort. This one is good quality, shipped well, and best price I could find online.

    Perfect!

Did just what it was advertised to do and works perfectly. Helped relieve my GERD problem.
