Bought in mid May and now, almost exactly 5 months to the day, it stopped working.. i will say i used it about 5 days a week, and the pour was not always clean (usually water dripped around the spout, but wasn't a deal breaker).. super bummed and definitely would not buy it again to only have it last a short time.

pretty but too big and complicated

I am conflicted with this item. It does work. The timing is just like my other electric kettle that I loved. The thing is this one is so huge. I don't like things take up so much space in my kitchen. And there's a million diff buttons. I just want to boil water. What else is there to do? My other one you put water in, press a button done. This one you have to pick your selection. AND I found out that it keeps boiling or doing whatever once its ready (at boil point) and you pour it out and put it back. Why would it still be on? It does not turn off until you turn it off. I had no idea and almost burned it. it is better looking than my old one though. Also one more thing about this one is that you can't see how much water you are putting in it from outside b/c there no glass to see it. So you are just putting water in from the top guessing since you can't really see.
