Warm and comfortable!
These shoes are so warm and comfortable it's like being at home all the time when I wear them! THe thick durable soles, make these a fine shoe to wear through the winter when the snow isn't too deep, and the fur lining keeps your feet super warm! I typically wear a 9.5 in sneakers, but decided to go down to 9 since these are whole sizes only and felt 10 would have been too big. I was probably right in that decision- these do fit ok, but a 9.5 probably would have been perfect, while a 10 would have been too big. Really happy with these, just wish half sizes were available.
BearPaw Moc II
When I tried the slippers on for the first time they felt tight at first but, as far as the length, they were perfect. They only felt tight because of the plush shearling inside. After a day or two, it starts to mat down a bit and they still fit perfect and are very comfy even with socks on. I would definately recommend purchasing the size you wear in a shoe. True to fit!! The color is great and they are super warm!
I am a fan of mocassin slippers and ordered these because they came in colors other than tan. I am very happy with these. I normally wear a size 11 shoe, but I ordered these in size 10 because I knew they would stretch. They fit perfectly after a couple days. I would highly recommend ordering a size smaller than what you normally wear.
These are great - warm, comfy and rugged enough that you can wear outside. NOTE: As others mentioned, please consider size before purchasing. I normally wear an 11 and I ordered one which felt fine but I returned it because everyone said they would stretch. I exchanged that pair for a 10. When the 10 arrived, they were a drop snug (but not uncomfortable) and within 2 days of use they now fit perfectly So definitely think about ordering a size smaller than you normally would.
Just wish they hadnt given me blisters
I thought these were going to be perfect. The size was great and I liked the higher rubber sole. I put them on "with socks" and they still gave me blisters on both my heels. Tried without socks and even worse. Never had this happen to me in any brand of slippers. They're in my closet and probably will stay there until my next garage sale.
BLACK DYE A PROBLEM
The most unusual thing about these is that the pair I have in black caused me to have ring-around-the-ankle for about the first 5 or 6 wearings. The black colorant was rubbing off on my skin (and anything else in contact). I consider that a mfg. defect.I chose the style thinking they would provide some arch support. They do not, but I am finding them comfortable. The slippers I kept were a size 9. My usual size is about 9.5, so I tried both the 9 and the 10. The 10 was loose, the 9 was short. Thinking the leather was soft and would stretch, I kept the 9. The shorter length was the right choice, but even now, after wearing them a lot, I still feel my toes pressing into the leather at the front of the moccasin. That is annoying, but because of the soft leather and the fact they are not TOO short, I don't really think about it.
BearPaw Moc ll
Wanted indoor outdoor durable shoe like slipper to wear in house & out with dog. It looks nice & the sole is very durable. I bought the black but wouldn't again. When feet get moist the dye from the inside fake sheep skin bleed onto feet & is hard to get off. I've had sheep skin linings before & always felt warm. These always feel like I'm bare foot in that my feet feel chilly. Otherwise they are comfortable & the sole is sure footed in the wet. I've worn them to drive & they grip the pedals very well. I haven't worn them long enough to know how well they wear.
