Assembly was a little difficult because boards were t labeled. Just be mindful of using the pictures and noting where the screw holes are. Assembled it by myself and only took 1.5 hours. Very sturdy wood. Love the look. Color is slightly lighter walnut than expected but still very pretty.

Not perfect but pretty darn good!
All in all, this bed is sturdy and attractive. Assembly wasn't a total nightmare but I would advise organizing all the hardware before beginning. All the pieces are in one bag and unlabeled so it takes a few moments to separate and identify what's what. as opposed to other pieces of furniture I have assembled in the past, there are no extra pieces, so make sure to account for each and every item. For the price point, it's terrific and looks very nice. Let's see how well it holds up once regularly used.
