Great game
This is is amazing! For both new comers and veterans. The only issue I have with it is the issuing of commands. The squad leader has control over these and in other BF games if you spammed Request Orders, and the leader was inactive, it would promote you to leader. This feature been abandoned, for now, and it's very frustrating you are not getting max points for capturing objectives.Zaclj

Same game, less upgrades
So on previous battlefields you had multiple class upgrades as well as weapon mods. Battlefield one has neither of those things. Its the same game we have all been playing for years, they just simply put less effort in to it.
Is the game fun? In short, yes. However, it is not something you can expect to enjoy for all to long. Aside from unlocking new guns there really isnt much else for you to do.Kellog
