About This Item
Bandanas — not just for cowboys! Though these western-style cotton bandanas evoke the American wild West, they're super versatile and have way more applications than you might imagine. You can use the bandanas to create a number of crafts — you can weave them together to create a patriotic wreath, sew together to create a table runner, fold into napkin rings for unique place settings — the only limit is your imagination! The gorgeous paisley pattern complements a wide range of decor styles, from sleek minimalism to shabby chic. For the fashion-minded, a bandana also looks cute as an alternative to the classic handbag scarf, folded long ways and tied around a boot ankle. Also cute as a headband, bracelet or neckerchief. Making a 4th of July wreath.
Great for crafts
I purchased these to make a 4th of July wreath (Pinterest!). They are lovely vivid colors and seem to be well made.
Good quality, good Value
I had to order the bandanas online, because the store was completely out after Memorial Day, but found that the delivery delay was only a week. The quality of the fabric is good, and for the less than $1 for each, is a good value. I will use these for a wreath, but they could easily be used for a clothing accessory. I will purchase again.
Using these as napkins for a BBQ party. They are large and 100% cotton. Perfect for intended use. Have not washed them yet.
Dad's white handkerchiefs had disappeared. Laundry at senior living facility were mistaking them for Kleenex. Problem solved with these colorful ones.
Red and blue bandanas
I bought these for a craft project for my sisters and me to work on when they come to visit. The bandanas arrived quickly and are perfect - exactly as pictured. I couldn't be happier!
My Dog got jealous of his little sister
Hoss saw Clohe with a smaller one she got from Petsmart when they groomed her and he being so much bigger wanted a bannana also. Got the 12 pack due to his size and knowing they may not last long. Good news first one lasted a week before the forest got it. Normal yard trips it should last at least a month. Good deal for people also. Nice size, I expect to use some during the summer months..
After reading the previous reviews, I still ordered these anyway. I tried to gove them a cold water/vinegar bath to set the colors - and much of the color did fade out even in the vinegar water. I did not loose the white color though. Then I ran them through the washer and dryer, and yes the edge on most of them began to fray. I used these for quilt blocks, sewing a grip pattern through the center portion, and following the outlines in the pattern. They are not square, so if joining them together you must make sure they are turned the same way. For my purpose, they were OK, since this quilt is primarily a prototype.
look good; will prob. get weird after laundering
I'm going to use them for table toppers (table cloths). Once they are washed, I think they will get mis-shapen. Doesn't matter for what I'm using them for initially. They are stiff, but that works good for the table cloth idea.
You had better wash separately!
I wasn't expecting a while lot given the price (and Walmart), but both colors bled TERRIBLY, esp the red. In fact, I washed them together before the first use (thankfully without anything else), and the red bled its color so badly, that it turned the white parts of the blue bandanas pink, which then involved soaking in Oxy-Clean overnight, and rewashing the blue separately. (The pink came out well enough to be presentable). In short, for my kids' cowboy birthday party napkins, they were fine, but for actual "bandana" use...not so much.
