    Awesomeness

I am loving this portable grill. I found it by accident looking for an emergency replacement since my old one just gave it quits. Wknd after July 4th I went to 4 different stores, all out of grills. We had a baseball game next day that we where planning to tailgate. At my last stop I found this broking up box all taped up. All parts where in the box so it was a go!! Took about 15-20min to assemble. Put charcoal and lit it up....! The legs are sturdy and they get click inward so when ready to store away. The top when opened normally and not thrown back, works perfect(does not fall backwards). We placed 2ribeye steak, two chkn thighs and 2 bubba burgers on the second level. Everything came out soooo good and juicy. The guys loved it! In fact one of them asked where could he get one cause it's a perfect size, You can move it around with ease and its super cheap. I definitely am getting much more than what i paid for $13.95. used 3x's and counting.

    Love my grill!

First off, it has two cooking surfaces inside, one that is attached to the lid and hinges over the 2nd level. We have used it a few times and learned some lessons...you have to use a lot of charcoal, so you will want to start any uncooked meat on the top tier so that it will cook the inside first, the 2nd level is just too hot at first. I do love my grill! I can't grill at my apartment so we have to go to parks, and it cools off quickly after you dump the coals. The legs fold, with a spring action, toward the outside, so make sure it is on a level surface...it's not like it is going to spring fold and cause a fire, but one leg did actually fold in when it was being moved...you can grill with the legs folded, but I wouldn't place it on a table and do that. This is perfect for a small family, but if you are cooking more than like 6 brats or 4 hamburgers and some skewered veggies you need something larger.

Enjoy The Thrill Of The Grill

We were totally surprised by how awesome this little grill is! For less than 2 movie tickets we scored our first charcoal grill. We expected way less for $15 and "Backyard Grill" surpassed my expectation. Thank you, Walmart! The installation instructions were easy to decipher and it was a snap to assemble (it took about 20 minutes including a few rest breaks to play fetch with my Labs during assembly). The packaging showed a black on black grill but to my surprise I opened up a red top with black bottom - this will go amazingly well with my red Solo party cups ... and my red MINI Cooper. This grill would be great for a camping trip or for smaller-sized backyard grilling gathering for 2-6 people. I've been a propane griller for 99% of my life and looking forward to some great grilling with this little guy!

    Great cheap grill

I only bought this so I could have a small cook out with my friends in my driveway. I was only looking for a bottom of the line charcoal grill. This little grill definitely got the job done! It requires a lot of assembly, you literally put the entire grill together, but it's not too difficult. The instructions were very easy to follow. All the boxes were torn and smushed, seems as if the manufacturers toss these around. My only complaints: If you intend on opening and closing the grill lid often, I recommend you forgo the warming rack. It has the common tendency to fall off onto the grill surface, and it's very hard to reattach/remove when it's scorching hot. Also, the bottom of the grill on the exterior melted a bit. There is melted enamel (or whatever) hanging off the bottom of the grill where the coals were. Not sure if this is normal, or if this is cheap material. Either way, if you're not a serious griller and you want to throw some burgers on for an occasional party, this was well worth the money.

    Awesome cheap grill

This grill lasted me over 7 years. It's $13.50 now and I bought it for $9.50. I have dragged this thing everywhere, and taking on my boat to the beach was it's final undoing. It rusted out. My only complaint is that I can't find another Walmart with one in stock to replace this one. Best grill I ever had! The reason I like it is it is so practical and closes up VERY WELL. I can fold the legs and put the handle over the top and nothing falls out. I will miss it. Oh and to the person who was complaining about it being "cheap"; it is but what do you want for the price other than a versatile inexpensive grill?
