I was so excited to get this chair as my daughter is now 18 months and is always trying to climb up on our chairs (at the beach, camping, and the dinner table). A few things that we loved about this chair is the stability it provides with the way the legs open on it. You have 4 that create the foundation of a typical seat, but also 4 additional legs that extend out to prevent it from tipping over. This is one of the best features... as my daughter has tried those "typical" fold out camping chairs and has tipped them over a few times trying to get in. Not this chair as the extra legs create a solid structure for her to climb over. We just took this to the beach, and one of the second features we love is the canopy that connect to the chair to keep the sun out. Even though we have an umbrella we stay under, we were able to bring this chair up towards the water, so we could get some sun while our daughter was still protected from it. Third thing we love, well that my niece who is 9 months loved, is the place for the legs to go through. We used the straps to keep her secured and put her legs in the bottom, and she had a great time watching us while standing. The only feature that we didn't like was the food tray as it didn't stay on the chair well. You connect it with a set of 4 holes in the arm rest, but it didn't secure well and my daughter (18 months) was able to keep pulling it off. With that said, I would say this chair is great for the simple use of using it as a chair, but not so much as a way to give them snacks or feed as the tray is not sturdy. All in all - love the chair and have already told others to go buy it for the beach!
