I'm a general contractor . I take on the small jobs the other contractors eather don't have time for or there beneath them . If one of my customers ask me if I would do an odd job for them along with what I was originally hired for I always I can take a look . Witch leads me to this little sander . I was asked if I could resurface a dinning set . Now I have sanders from DeWalt & Makita but none of those sanders will get right on to the tough spots & I don't have the time to sand by hand . So I bought this little wonder. It helped me finish the job in good time & now that I have it , I'm finding all sorts of used for it . In short I love this sander . Definitely recommend !

Working great for my crafting!

I bought this for detail working with small pieces of wood and gourds. It seems to be doing the trick for me. It collects the dust and doesn't seem to be making much of a mess. I would recommend this product to anyone that needs something small and doesn't vibrate a lot.

Very Handy

We bought the Black and Decker detail sander to work on the difficult to access areas of our cedar deck. The sander has performed extremely well. We used the extension piece for working on spindles. We especially like the dust collection receptacle. It's quick to remove and easy to clean. Our only complaint is not about the sander but about the difficulty, at least locally, to source the proper sanding sheets.

Good for corners and tight spots

Tooll does a good job getting into corners and edges. Easy to change sandpaper. Would like to be able to purchase paper with a little coarser grit to remove old paint. Otherwise a good value and good tool.
