This waffle maker is good, if you add right quantity of batter, if you add extra it makes nice fluffy waffle does not overflow , but the disc starts opening during lock position and makes it hard to flip it back , which makes it difficult to open the lid when waffle is ready, other then that its awesome

The Black & Decker waffle Maker works great. It is easy to use and our kids love using the maker. We make some extra waffle for the next day. Everyone can join in and make their own waffles . It cleans up good . Just a wipe with a wet close and it is ready to good. Wish we would do bought this waffle maker years ago. I would recommend the Black & Decker Waffle maker to everyone. It makes breakfast fun.
Great waffle maker
Easy to use and although it doesn't beep when waffles are done, the green light comes on and you can hear a click. Waffles come out fluffy and delicious
Used it a few times. The amount you put in and the viscosity (thickness) of batter is very important. Follow directions besides a few things. I did use Pam spray worked well. Says to cook until steam stops, but they will burn that way. Here's what I do. Put batter in and let it flow a bit then close lid. Wait 10 seconds and then do the flip thing. When ready light on other side goes on it's golden. Each 2 seconds after that light comes on makes a difference. I count to 4-5 Mississippi and it's perfectly done to my liking but you'll have to experiment a little. Easily comes out. I only spray Pam on before first waffle and that's it for the batch I'm making. Nothing stuck so far. Nothing to really clean either. Nice and simple.
Hotel waffles....costs less
Works perfectly.....just luke the ones in hotels with continental breakfast. Use it every weekend.
Works great! Very easy to use. My kids love making waffles in the morning! I definitely would recommend this product.
seldom use it but it works great
Over all good but some things I wish were differen
Easy to use except a few things. The handle folds in which is great for storing, but when using it tends to flip in and out as you are turning the waffles over. I wish it would lock into place when in use. I also wish it came with a measuring cup for the batter. It calls for 3/4 cup which for some reason is hard to find. I use a one cup measure and some times over fill a bit. But it does cook the waffles nice and is easy to use.
Hi : Unit is very simple, No On/OFF switch . Waffles come out soft , not crispy. not the greatest. We try to use it 3 times and was not satisfy after the waffle was cook.. sorry , to complaint , but it's what it's ... Unit went back today 11.35 am was pick up , en route to your return warehouse. looking for a full refund soon. Thank you very much, Raul
The lid will not stay closed once your waffle begins to cook (we did not have too much batter in it either). The timer light didn't seem to work...it would just stay lit and we would have to guess when to flip it. On one of the waffles, after we flipped it, the lid still popped open while it was upside down b/c the locking mechanism wasn't strong enough to hold it closed. This caused a huge problem b/c you cannot flip the waffle back over into the upright position with the lid open and you cannot fully open the lid while it's upside down, so we had no way to get the waffle out of the machine. We had to unplug the waffle maker and use a fork to peel out the waffle (which was destroyed). After about 15 minutes of frustration, we were able to maneuver the machine back into the upright position. We allowed our children to prepare their own waffles with supervision (ages 9, 10, and 13), when they would go to close the lid, it always wanted to start flipping over, making the kids nearly spill their batter. Also, cleaning was a chore since the machine does not dissasemble. Everyone thought the waffles tasted great...just an impossible feat for the cook!!
