    confusing but probably good

I do believe this is a pretty good tire. Walmart does appear to have this same tire listed under a different item number. I can tell you that the tires are a full year old. In doing research, IF they are stored properly, this has little negative effect. So although i was not happy about them being a full year old, i accepted them anyway. Had them installed at Walmart. The people were very helpful and friendly and the price was exactly as quoted, which is much less than most tire shops.

    meh! Okay for the application.

Tires installed on 2005 Honda Odyssey. Lasted about 42-43,000 miles for 2-1/2 years. Replaced set when one tire became very wobbly. Dealer balanced wheels twice, but the third visit they finally said that the tire had separated. Tread remaining on tires ranged from 2/32 - 4/32, but I chose to replace the whole set since winter is near. I had hoped to get better mileage from these. Our traveling is mostly highway and paved, but does include regular travel on county gravel roads. Mileage was a little less than the previous set of Uniroyal Cross Country Tours and the Kelly tires before that. The BFGs were a smoother riding tire than either of the other two, especially the Kellys. This new set is the Advantage T/A Sport, only because that was the only tire the dealer had in stock. I don't like that they have less tread depth to start with.

Great tire for the "average" driving needs.

These Touring T/A tires were purchased in 2008 in the Deep South for our Buick LeSabre, used about 85% for Interstate highway travel, have been regularly rotated and balanced (require minimum counter-balancing weights),, maintained at the maximum air pressure imprinted on the tire, and have delivered EXCELLENT service for over 50,000 miles. They run quiet, smooth, and cool at highway speeds, are crisp handling, and deliver excellent fuel economy. My only complaint would be the traction being below my expectation for such a highly touted product. Buying this tire at a warehouse price would certainly put in competition with my personal 'benchmark' tire from Michelin. Not only would I recommend this tire to a friend, but I am placing an order for an identical set as replacements on this vehicle. Summation: Great tire for the money!!!

    Good tires but noisy

These are good tires, feel very well built, i've had them on for about two months now and they still feel pretty new like day one but i can't give much of a review in terms of handling as i have these installed on a minivan that i use for work so i have not test the tires in extreme driving conditions, spontanous breaking, sharp turns...etc. One thing that i extremely dislike about these tires is the very annoying squeeky sound they make, its not as apparent in higher speeds but definitely annoying when you are rolling in and out of parking lots, shopping centers...etc. i had heard that some tire do make annoying sounds but did not really think it would be a problem to take into consideration, and its not a huge deal on a minivan but i would definitely not recommend them on any other casual, more stylish everyday cars, you may find the noise somewhat embarassing.

    great tire

i have had probably 6-8 sets of these as i drive about 50k a year as does my wife, these are the best all around tire for traction, noise, and fuel economy you can get. i have tried many and the factory ones last half as long and half less than half the traction for snow. the people that complain must nor have the right pressures or not rotating these. i live in an area that measures most snow falls in feet. my monte carlo and my wifes lucerne can literally plow snow to get out the driveway. At around the psi on the door, 33-34 for 35 and 28-30 for 30psi. during the summer i put a couple over and get 2 to 3 more mpg over the factory goodyears. the only thing i have found better is the BFG traction t/a i had on the 03 monte carlo I had before the 07, wish they still made those in the modern sizes.
