    Best shampoo I ever tried.

I tried: Pantene (Leaves hair too sticky) Lush (Doesn't remove oil or products used on my hair) Head and Shoulders (Dried my hair out too much) Paul Mitchell (Made me get dandruff) Biolage (Made me get dandruff) Mane N Tail (Dried my hair out too much smelled like hotel shampoo) Root Awakening (Left my hair feeling like hay) Garnier (Made me get dandruff) Dove (Needed to wash everyday or it would get oily) Organix (Made my hair lighter and dried out) Infusium 23 (Made me get dandruff) Loreal Paris (Hair felt sticky) Clear Scalp & Hair (Ends felt dry and roots got oily) Nexxus (beware this shampoo almost made me loose all my hair for some reason) Kerastase (Had to wash everyday, because hair got oily) Suave (Dried out my hair) V05 (Dried my hair out) and the list goes on and on. This is the first time I washed it with this shampoo and conditioned with the matching conditioner and then used the leave in conditioner from Aveeno, but so far this shampoo left my hair feeling so much softer, silkier, manageable, less frizzy, took out the oil without drying, and smells so wonderful! I love how this one is Sulfate Free. I don't think they could have made it any better. I'll be sure to update if I have any more comments about this shampoo, but so far it's been great!

    Amazing for dry hair

I'm more than satisfied with the Pure Renewal line of shampoo by Aveeno. The first thing I noticed was the fragrance, which has a play/seaweed base. Which is something I can appreciate even more, because I have never been one to buy fruity stuff for my hair. So it does have a gorgeous scent. My first use, I noticed it felt more gentle on my hair. I think it's a combination of the ingredients and being that it's naturally deprived. I also was extremely pleased how reacted to my hair. First let me give a little background. I have very dry, damaged, bleached out hair. Now I'm going through a repair faze. When I use a regular shampoo it makes it so extremely dry and brittle that s bottle of conditioner won't make my locks soft. With Purd Renewal, that was certainly not the case at all. After using the shampoo, my hair was not dry and brittle, it felt almost normal. Which is why I immediately switched. Most certainly is the best for my hair that I have found. Would definitely recommend. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

    Great for my sensitive skin

Most shampoos make me break out all over my face, neck, back and even my bum. This is one of the rare shampoo/conditioner combos that don't make me look like a teenager starting puberty. It doesn't dry out my hair too much (starting to with the seasons changing which is more to do with the climate than the shampoo/conditioner). My hair has been shiny for the first time in years after many different color changes as well. I love this stuff. However, I was very annoyed that when I went to buy more in the store today there wasn't any...not even a spot on the shelf for it. I really hope Walmart isn't phasing out this particular shampoo and conditioner from their stores. There needs to be more hair products available, like this, for those of us with more sensitive skin. I guess I'll be buying it online now :(

    Lots of lather

I bought this because it is sulfate free but I was afraid it wouldn't lather like the sulfates do. I was wrong. It lathers just fine. Smells great. Does a good job and no sulfates. Makes my scalp feel better.

    Surprisingly Cleaner Hair

I bought this shampoo on a whim because I had a little extra money, and I thought "Why not? I need some fancier shampoo..." I chose Aveeno, because I know their lotions and body washes are wonderful for my sensitive ginger skin (read: excema), so their new hair product line had to be good, right? I chose this shampoo, and their "Nourish and Strengthen" Conditioner (whatever that means). I didn't understand what "No Sulfates" meant and had never heard of this apparently new, and ever-growing trend in the hair industry. Needless to say, I was confused when my shampoo wasn't soapy when I washed my hair in the shower later that day. Even so, my hair felt awesome afterwards! It had literally never felt this clean before. My fiance even noticed when I came out of the shower and asked me why my hair looked different. (And he never notices anything, let alone my hairstyles) So I researched what sulfate-free shampoos are with a quick Google search, and now I am glad that my random choice gave me something great!
