- 5 out of 5 stars review11/10/2023I purchased a smart lock almost 2 years ago & it is always reliable. It never lets me down. It also has smart features and the app always works. The device is not visible to outside viewers. It's very good because people don't know you have a smart device so they can't force you to open the door if they don't see a key and that helps you to protect your house in a better way.
The August Smart lock is Incredible.

After reading many reviews like this one, I took a leap of faith and purchased a August lock for my new home build. The setup was super easy, the fit and function is perfect. I had the lock installed and set up in 15 mins. I was concerned about the Geo fence, but I have to say, 9 times out of 10 my door is unlocking as I walk up to it.

We had been interested in acquiring a smart lock for nearly two years, but couldn't find one that was simple to install and fit in our decor. Not only does the August Smart Lock check these two boxes, it can be programmed to automatically lock when you leave and unlock when you return!

Rejean - 5 out of 5 stars review12/15/2023Small footprint, did not require drilling in my hand carved door. The auto unlock feature is great but only works 90% of the time. The only complaint is that the low battery warning starts too early, at 20% but lasts another 5-6 weeks after initial warning, with two emails a day and app notification. There is no way to set low battery notification at a lower number (AUGUST, take notice) Overall, a very good product.
