I can't tell you how it tastes b/c I bought as emergency prepper food. I thought it was a little pricey given it isn't organic. I'm not sure how many meals I'd get out of it but the plan is to mis it into the Augason Farms dried veggies and some beans to make a heartier meal in emergency times. I plan to supplement this more expensive meat with the beef FLAVORED soy protein in a can that is much cheaper to make this go father as a pepper food. These are big cans, bigger than your typical big can of crushed tomatoes and the like. BUt the cans aren't as sturdy as a true metal vegetable can. A couple of the cans were dented but I dont believe anything was compromised and I suspect this was the fault of the manufacturer not WMT. Each can seems to be properly sealed (not sure if these type of cans are waterproof. Shelf life of what I typcally order from Augason Farms in 10+ yrs. These were over 25yrs+.
