This doorbell works well and is less expensive than ring. You can hear people speaking when they ring the doorbell very loud and clear in your home through your phone however when you answer them, the voice heard outside from the doorbell is almost inaudible. Aside from that little drawback, I'm very happy with the product. I also checked reviews for a ring doorbell and people complain about the exact same thing even though ring makes it seem, in their commercials, that there is a booming loud voice coming from their doorbell. Apparently that is false. After all, how much sound can come out of the tiny little speaker that is in the doorbell? Save yourself some money and get this little doorbell kit, you won't be disappointed. Video from the camera is also excellent and it is adjustable as well, as far as picture quality.
