This is not the Ariel you'd buy in Europe

To everyone who used it in Europe-you are out of luck, this is nothing like the real thing (as a matter of fact, none of the P&G products are the same here-starting with Tide and Ariel and ending with Crest and and Gillette). It's still a good washing powder, but forget about just throwing your clothes in the laundry machine and taking them out without any stains-it's not gonna happen. P&G most likely "diluted" this Ariel, most likely to avoid lawsuits from people who soaked their clothes in for too long(The real Ariel will make your clothes fall apart if you soak them in for too long-learned that the hard way when I was in college). As I said-it is a nice product, but it has nothing but the smell in common with the real thing. Grass, blood, ketchup, machine oil, cooking oil-all these need to be treated or soaked before washing.

This is not the Ariel sold oversees

I can not get enough of the liquid Ariel laundry detergent I bought while in Germany. I would hand wash my clothes and let them air dry in my motel room. At the end of a work day I would enter my room and the scent was awesome. Clean and fresh. I bought Ariel USA for this purpose, but it is a powder not a liquid and the scent is not even close to the German brands. In short. It works like any other laundry powder I've used in the past. Can not say its better or worse. I get my clothes filthy and oily within a machine shop environment. So I want my clothes to smell fresh at least when I start a work day. This Brand just doesn't have the scent I was looking for, but it does clean my clothing. So for recommend I chose Yes, but I will go to my local grocery store when my supply runs out.

    ISO: the freshest smelling laundry

After doing a google search on how to get the best smelling laundry, I decided to try Ariel. My clothes smell good but are not as fragrant as I hoped. Other than that my clothes are very clean and I like how they smell.

    Wow smells amazing and fresh!

This is just has good as the old Tides before new actilift or updated overly sweet scents. Plus it's so affordable. Hope P&G doesn't mess with this too. I don't care for the regular Ariel scent but mountain spring is great. It stays w the laundry and doesn't irritate my skin. Transfer to another container and use an 1/8 cup scoop if you have an HE machine. Kitchen towels smell fresh, feel soft, and are stain free. I don't need any fabric softener. I highly recommend this to anyone. Such a find!

    Great product!!

It cleans our clothes very well and smells so fresh too!! Love this product !
