Cheap plastic parts on such a nice handle

I too have had the nut strip in less than 6 months. Seems like a bad idea to have plastic pieces with such a nice looking handle. I can't find anything to fit and am frustrated. I noted some of the responses to complaints and the company doesn't seem to be all that helpful. That's too bad. I'll keep looking for a metal nut that will fit. Don't know if I'll continue to buy Moen products if they keep making cheap products that aren't cheap to buy. Ugh! It's useless at this point.

Metal Lever Plastic Arm

I bought this lever to match the single handle tub shower Trim I recently installed, not realizing the internal lever arm is plastic and also does not work with my Flushmate Pressured Tank. The spindle is too long and isn't designed to connect to a pressured tank long lever arm. Disappointed that I can't use this matching trim piece in my bathroom.

Bad Design

Bad design. The leveler mechanical side is all plastic and the nut and cogs strip out. Replaced (2) levers in a less than a month. Both have been installed correctly being fully aware that parts are plastic and could strip or crack.
