Great because of its smooth sides. Label friendly

    Love Them!

I love my jars! I used them for a very special project and they were a Hit! They also cost efficient, better than paying $1 each at the dollar store.

    X mass mason jars

The jars were not ready for same day pick up but I made x mass jars with my kids for there teachers it was a lot of fun it worked out great an I'm happy it dident have a logo on them they were just clear wHite jars

    Great size for decoration

Awesome. For someone on a budget easy to decorate because of smooth edges. I was looking for something inexpensive for our 50th family reunion. Though of making photo jars to giveaway as registration prizes. Worked out great also can't beat the price

    Lids don't seal

If you are using these jars to can food, do not buy them. The lids do not seal properly. I tried to re-bath my pickles 3 times because this is only my second year and thought I was doing something wrong. I finally looked at the reviews to see what others were saying. I used a couple of my Ball quart sized with the same batch of pickles and the "popped" soon after. Spend another dollar or two and get Ball or Kerr brand. BTW, I'm not sure why these are listed as $21 on but they are only $6-7 in store. Will still work good for crafts or catching lightening bugs. ;-)

    Not good lids

I just started canning and my Grandma was coaching me through the steps over the past month on how to do everything correctly. I kept telling my Grandma there was no pop noise whether I sealed them or not. After many attempts and loosing about 12 jars due to the seal not working I finally bought different lids. They worked perfect. The jars themselves are amazing but I do not recommend the lids for any kind of proper sealing.

Quality for less than dollar store price!

Anchor Hocking this cheap- what a great deal! I bought them for crafting so I won't be 'sealing' them and cant' speak to whether they seal correctly or not as other reviewers stated. If you don't have to have them sealed, then this is a perfect buy for you!

    I love these for canning!

Well first I am not really very experienced in canning (only been doing it for about 3 years!) and these jars worked perfectly. I have noticed other reviewers said they did not seal. I had no issues with canning Berry Jam-100% success (10 jars). I used both the 1/2 pint and pint size. A couple things-they do not ping as they seal like other brands and because the lid is thicker then other brands it takes several hours to properly/completely seal. I find Kerr and Ball seal pretty quickly once they are out of the water. But it is clear when the Anchor Jars have properly sealed by the firmness and indentation in the lid so you aren't left wondering just because there was no ping or it took a little longer. As others have mentioned the smooth sides are great and let me use labels on my jars. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these at least for jams and jellies!

    8 oz Anchorglass canning jars

I have been canning for over 30 years always have used Ball or Kerr jars and lids. So I can say I know what I am doing when it comes to canning. For those new caner's Do Not use these jars with the lids that come with them. If you like these jars you will need to buy the replacement lids and toss the after market lids away. For that reason these jars are over priced.

    Bad buy

I have been canning jelly my whole life. I used some ball seals in the same batch as these and only the ball seals worked!I ruined 8 jars of strawberry jam. Lids won’t seal.
