Ancho Chili Peppers, Dried

Essential Spice Ancho Chilies are commonly known as the dried version of the poblano pepper.

Derived from Mexico, the Ancho, which is Spanish for "wide", chilies are typically flat, heart- shaped, and have a wrinkly-tough skin texture.
