    90% good, sometimes staticcy

It is really easy to install and use. I use it for my iPod touch. You just take it out of the box and plug the wire in your mp3 player into the transmitter, then plug the unit into your power outlet. So simple. And for the price, I mean you just can't beat it. Its the only product I have bought, but I don't need to buy another one. This one works great. My only criticism is that since it plays through your radio, 5-10% sometimes you can hear a little static buzz sound. It is very faint, and it RARELY happens, but when it does I pull over and find a new station and then I sync that station on the transmitter. I find it plays best on stations that are usually static and unused by radio stations. When I tried to use it on a popular radio station that plays throughout the city I live in really clear, I could only hear the radio and not my iPod music. I changed the station to one that plays static and my iPod was crystal clear. Depending on if I am driving really far distances (like I drove 100 miles up by Reno, Nevada and I live near Sacramento, California) I got a clear signal all the way up the drive and listened to my iPod without an issue. Its just sometimes I don't know quite why, I will randomly hear this faint buzzing sound from the transmitter. I usually can get rid of it by moving the transmitter around a bit and it goes away; or I will change stations again and sync it with my iPod. But yeah, it works great, clear sound, super easy install, and very good price. I use it every day.
I bought thhis for my sister so she could listen to her iphone in the car. She is very pleased with the sound quality and ease of use. So far she has only listened to music, she hasn't tried the hands free on the phone. But she did say that it sounded better than the transmitter she borrowed from a friend - it was louder and not as sensitive to being bumped and loosing the station. Given that I've seen similar units selling for $60, I'd say this is a very good value.

    Good Product, but......

The FM transmitter works great with my daughter's iPhone 3g, but there are a couple of issues that you should be aware of. We use the Otter Box Defender to protect both of our phones, but I had to remove one of the side pads in order for it to fit in the transmitter. Also, it is a bit top-heavy and that causes the unit to fall over. Not a real problem, but kind of aggravating.

Good value - not convenient to situate

Got one for myself and one for my friend for Christmas. The first time I tried to use it I apparently didn't plug into the headphone jack hard enough and got no sound or mono. Once I figured out the problem it works fine. Unfortunately, when you plug it in to the cigarette lighter and bend it so you can see it, it gradually droops down. Also, when plugged in in my minivan, it is about 6-8" to the right & about 3" above my right knee. Because of my 50+ eyesight, this means I can either see the road with my glasses on, or take them off and bend down to be able to read stuff on the screen - not a very safe practice! Would have been better to have a holder you can set or attach at a convenient spot, with a coil cord to plug it in. Like it anyway - already gave it to my friend, cause I was enjoying it so much!
This thing works great, on my wifes Iphone and my Droid when I'm in the car. Sound is as good as if it was plugged in hard wire. you can change to any station thats not used instead of them preset ones that don't work half the time. Makes it so much easier to use the phones GPS too. Use the USB port to connect your Droid or that Bluetooth that needs to be charged too. No kitchen sink included but close..
