This does the trick for pulling the hot air out of the house. I have this fan in an upstairs window on exhaust and I can feel it pulling air through my downstairs door. Not necessarily hard to install.. but you have to measure and mark it to get it to fit the window exactly. It adjusts using screws and a flat nut-type thing. Just take a few extra minutes to get it exact.

DISAPPOINTING AND NOT WORTH THE MONEY

The cheaper, less attractive industrial fans from Lasko work SO much better than this. The fan grill is really small and accumulates dust etc and is really hard to get into and pull out. Air flow is not impressive at all. Very disappointed. It's worth about $25, maybe.

    Fantastic!

    These fans work very well. They are the same as the Lasko and were cheaper then the Lasko. I built two panels to seal the openings on top of the fans that increases the suction/vacuum when you open the other windows in the house about six inches or so. I had purchased the same size Air King with a thermostat back in 2007 and it is still going strong. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

    A Beautiful Plastic Fan!

    Yeah, not quite as powerful as I had hoped but good enough. Where I was planning on maybe coming home on a hot day and turning on the fan to pull cooler from the back yard to cool my tiny house (700sq.ft) instead I must leave the fan on all day to keep it from getting hotter inside than outside. Otherwise, a beautiful plastic fan! Not too loud and no vibration. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
