Powerful toy gun
I received this product from the Spark Reviewer program. My son loves this gun. He was so excited. The only draw back is that is takes 6 D cell batteries and it makes the gun a little heavy. But if doesn't affect the function of the gun. It does hurt when you get hit by those little balls at close range. So I told him don't shoot anyone in the face. He played for hours.

Easily breakable
My son got this as a gift for his birthday. Loaded it with batteries and played , the batteries only lasted maybe 20 minutes before dying, so I was going to purchase the rechargeable ones made by Nerf. Since I can't afford to buy 15$ in batteries every day I waited a few weeks before I bought a new set of batteries and now the gun won't work. No receipt and no box ...

Great fun!

The adventure force tactical strike quantum motorized ball blaster is a lot of fun. It comes with 75 balls, but has the ability to hold 100 balls. Comes with different color plates to put on sides to coordinate with your team. Takes 6 D batteries, not included. Easy to use and shoots really well. Haven't run into any problems using this item.

Fun, fun, fun!

I got the “Adventure Force Tactical Strike Quantum Motorized Ball Blaster” for our son and he just loves it! It is huge and motorized, to be used by bigger kids and needs 6D type batteries which are not included and it gets heavier with the batteries in; our son had a blast with the 75 tactical strike bounce balls rounds and the balls are quite harmless, light and bouncy; this Adventure Tactical Strike has a full auto blasting range, an anti-jam auto-release button making this toy reload very quick and easy. Our son even made a target on the back of our door, on the inside and that was the shooting range location for him and his friends and they had a blast! And this is not only for kids but for adults too: both, my wife and me, took turns shooting at target as well and we had so much fun! It is the ultimate toy for any kid and you cannot go wrong with choosing it!

Very fun and heavy duty!

My son enjoys playing paintball, but doesn't like the bruises and I didn't really like the mess with his clothes, and the high expense of the equipment. So we are all thrilled with this kinder, safer, cheaper, and less painful alternative, that still offers action-packed fun for him and all the guys. The blaster is quite big, so this really is for older kids and adults and is labeled as intended for ages 14 and up. It isn't light, either, with 6 "D" batteries (not included) the loaded gun weighs 6.5 pounds. The weight is well balanced, though, and the grips work well. That said, it's quite a few steps up from toy darts. There is a jam release button, in the upper barrel (press and lean the gun forward) but we haven't had any jams yet. There is a trigger lock, and a power switch, to quiet the blaster while you sneak around. There are red, green, and blue disks for teaming up or just using as a fun decoration. It seems to fire about once or twice a second, and has consistent aiming, too. Wind can be a factor in aiming, but the lighter balls mean the balls do not hurt like paintballs, so it's all good. He's really having a lot of fun with this blaster.

Super Blast

I just got this Adventure Force Tactical Strike Quantum Motorized Ball Blaster for my son. I'm gonna give it to him for Christmas this year. He loves these type of guns. We usually have a war at least once a week when we bring our guns and darts out and just go crazy. This one though will be awesome to use. I'm gonna have to get me one too so he won't be the only one having fun.

So obviously this is a huge gun. It's not too heavy. But it is big for a reason. It holds up to 100 little balls to shoot. And its automatic so it just keeps shooting. I had no problems during the test run. It was pretty cool.

What's cool is this can be used as a team game gun. It comes with these markers in red, green and blue so you can show off your team color. Which makes it nicer to know who's on which team if you have more than one person playing against each other on each team.

It does need 6 D batteries or you can use the Nerf brand rechargeable battery pack which is nice.

This is definitely a blast. Literally. Talk about fire power! I just put the batteries in and went out to test it.

I highly recommend to any Nerf gun lover! This would be great for couples ;) and for kids, big and small. Super loads of fun! And well made. Looks sleek and cool and modernized. And the high capacity of the hopper and automatic shooting is definitely appealing.

I did get to try this for free through the Spark review program but the experience and opinions are my own.

super fun and cool

everybody loved this gun, all ages, easy to use, and it's fun. it's motorized so it takes batteries, six D size batteries, one draw back, not a battery you keep much of, but I actually had some D rechargeable batteries so they worked great. you have to unscrew the back part of the gun to insert the batteries. it has a shoulder protector on the backend, maybe more for just looks, because there is no kickback with this gun. it's motorized so it will make a motor sound constantly, so you can't really sneak up on someone, unless you turn the gun off and on constantly. it's big and long about 30 inches, and requires two hands to hold. it's not super heavy even with six D batteries, maybe around five pounds, nothing bad. the rubber like balls are stored in the front grey holder and they are fed through the bottom into the gun. rounds come fast and furious, and it is great fun to hit your target. I got hit at close range it stung a little but I was fine. but overall this gun was a hit, and the kids love using it, so does my husband

Omg, so cool

You'll have to forgive my gushing, but this was amazing. I love this toy. Adventure Force Tactical Strike. You might think it's a boys only toy, or only a kid's toy but as an adult female, I loved it. It is a competition ball blaster. Not sure what that means, other than fun! We didn't have anything else to go with it, just played in the back yard. It is rated for 14+. I would say this is probably an accurate age limit. It has a high capacity hopper, able to hold 100 round. It also had a motorized flywheel. It requires 6 D batteries. We didn't shoot each other, which is what it's meant, and safe for. But I can definitely see how that would be fun. It has team color markers for you to be on a team. As with all these type of things, only use what is meant to go in there. Someone could be really hurt if you put something that wasn't supposed to be in there, in there. One warning that made my heart warm was they said no to aim it at animals. Now, by the time kids are 14, they should know this. But a warning is good. It also has a trigger lock, another good feature.

When we used it, we shot at old cans, buckets and that type of thing. As I said, I can only imagine the fun with a full setup.

More fun than I expected!

I didn't know much about this before I received it and I was expecting a Nerf type gun. Boy oh boy was I surprised when it arrived! This is not the foam blasting toy from my youth, it's a serious ball blaster! It is very large for starters so it would be better suited to older kids in my opinion. It is also very cool! I got some batteries (not included) and tested it out myself. I am an adult woman but I have to say I had tons of fun trying it out! My dog and my small children had fun chasing the balls I launched too. The ball refill packs are not expensive either, huge plus. I can't vouch for battery life but I used it quite a while without draining the batteries. My husband loved this and had a blast playing with it too. Of course this is really meant to be used in team to team competition and it would be super fun to play against others! Would be great for weekends, birthday parties etc. Of you're looking for a gun for your small children to shoot foam at each other thid isn't what you want. But if you want to play something serious along the lines of laser tag or paintball this is perfect! This would make a great (and very cool) gift! This thirtysomething mom thinks it very cool!

"Lock'd, Loaded & Ready To Pop Off"...........

First, the colors are bright, happy, fun engaging & attention getting. Next, this blaster is a fun to use once you get used to the weight of it. At least for me, a first time player of this type of toy. There are a few downfalls in my opinion. Some bigger than others. The biggest one being the weight of it. PARTICULARLY, with the batteries. It did not say in the description when I selected this item, how much it weighed with the HUGE "D" batteries needed for this to operate. SIX!!!!! YES, SIX! They load on the top using a screw driver to open & close for loading & unloading the batteries. This makes it definitely a bit heavy for a smaller child. The unit itself is well over 2 feet tall/long (around 2.5 feet or so). Per included product/item/unit instructions: Children/people ages 14+ ONLY! Particularly when having to manipulate & navigate its features & power during a high action, highly physical game. I'm assuming the size of the unit & the power it would need to have in order to compete with others of its kind, would require large batteries or battery packs in order to deliver. However, I'm no expert as I'm only hypothesizing/theorizing. The next downfall is the motor which is NOT quiet. That means the unlikelyhood of the super "fun-ness" of the sneak or stealth attack. Fun nonetheless. Also, it's been said to be compatible with some sort of rechargeable battery from another blaster of similar play. A "Nerf" brand one. I'm not sure but, a friend told me this as they saw me trying this one out. Again, I'm not too familiar with these sorts of things. I did have a fun with this one though. The unit comes with a few (3) different discs of different colors allowing to accustom your unit based on teams. The colors (green, blue & red) come in sets of two. They just pop in & pop out. There's an undercarriage spot right in front of the trigger area that's a little textured but, still made out of the same plastic molding used for the whole unit, to aid for grip balancing for stabilization while in use. Perhaps, this grip area could have a rubberized or silicone type covering/overlay for better grip. You're sweating/wet running around which makes the holding slippery. The rubberized grip would provide more control. The third bigger thing that I feel is a downfall is the fire power which is delayed & inconsistent in my opinion. Not a deal breaker though. It just takes a few seconds (around 3-5) to continue blasting after trigger pulling each time which blasts about 3-8 balls at a time. You have to just hold the trigger to release these rounds. Continuous pressing of the trigger does not give you more fire power. It stalls it. Press, let the alloted rounds release, allow motor to reload, then fire again. This is that delay I'm talking about. There' s a trigger lock button a bit up in front of the trigger. It's a push type. Push in from the front. Push from the back (underneath) to unlock. The rounds numbers are not consistent. Could be batteries. Could be unit's mechanism itself. Either way, 3-8 rounds is good enough for me. There's also no speed/ acceleration/velocity setting (if that's even a thing with this type of product). Again, I'm no pro at  this but, I like the product. Another downside though, is the balls being lost & too pain staking to find & collect for reuse. Especially with so many people running & kicking or feet sweeping them.

**Side note: You can really tell I'm new to this. LoL.**

There is a ball jam release button located right above the ball muzzle that comes in handy when your 'balls are in a jam'. LoL!. I had a couple jams & this feature worked fine. The "hopper" is where the balls/rounds are housed. There's this blue "thingy" (hopper support bracket) that pushes down on top of the hopper once it has been loaded & put back into the blaster. It doesn't clamp or click into place which would be better. It just sits there. To me, it serves more as decorative than function. I kinda sorta used it as a second makeshift eye line. I also left on the clear elastic that holds it togther for shipping/packing purposes. I carefully & gingerly maneuver the hopper out while leaving it attached by this elastic to load balls. I then use that same care to return the hopper to its space. I find this to be helpful in holding the hopper perfectly in place. Perhaps, tbey can design a stretchy elastic piece like this to accompany this feature for more stability in the hopper's housing. What do I know?........... The undercarriage of the hopper itself has spring loaded like panels on either side of the slender opening of it which makes loading it easy but, secure.  It also of course is the place where the balls are released into or for the chamber or whatever it's called in which to fire the rounds. It says to hold up to 100 rounds. It comes with 75. Why? Just why would they "say" it holds 100 YET, start you off with ONLY 75? So super janky of them......... Anyways, here's what I feel is the MOST IMPORTANT PART>>do NOT shoot this up close on anyone! In addition, do NOT overload the hopper. It could cause jamming if you have none or excessive jamming if you experience it at all. Overall, none of the downfalls I've mentioned in this review are deal breakers for me. I like this toy. It creates activity of the mind & body. You strategize & you become physically engaged which are both forms of exercise for even those who don't. It invites you to want to become active. For that alone, I recommend this product.

****IMPORTANT****

PLEASE READ THE INCLUDED INSTRUCTION/DESCRIPTION LEAFLET IN ITS ENTIRETY!!!! FOLLOW ALL RECOMMENDATIONS ABOUT THE BATTERIES & THE UNIT IN ORDER TO GET THE BEST USAGE /FUN OUT OF THE PRODUCT****

My last tidbit of advice I'd give, is to use head/face protecrive gear for eyes & teeth despite the balls not being too hard. It's just added measure when playing high speed & spur of the second decision making, physically high impact games. Like a mouth guard & eye goggles. This is only my advice. Well, I guess that's it & I hope I've not forgotten anything. So, get up, get out & get to steppin', running & taking cover 'cause I'm comin' fo ya.

Super Fun and Affordable, But Heavy!!!!

The Quantum Adventure Force Tactical Strike Quantum Motorized Ball Blaster is a total blast! Nerf makes a similar blaster in their Rival series, but this one is cheaper and just as high quality. The gun comes with 75 balls but can hold up to 100 rounds. The rounds are also compatible with Nerf Rival balls as well. It's easy loading via the top of the gun. The blaster also comes with six team color chips (green, blue and red) so you can form and change teams quickly. This toy is huge, and it's heavy. The age limit is 14, which is appropriate, but I think my husband and I had more fun with it! The balls do shoot pretty hard and fast so be cognizant of your surroundings, including dogs (as we almost gave mine a heart attack when one accidentally went by his head). The blaster does require 6 D batteries, which aren't cheap but the cost of batteries is easily offset by the lower price of the toy as compared to similar Nerf models. This is a great toy for any active teenager or adult looking for some kid-like fun. The best part is the price. Great purchase!
