Enteric coating / excipient
I don't know if Doctor's Best is the only brand in which the enteric coating is made without methacrylic acid copolymer, but several other brands have it. Methacrylic acid copolymer is a risk factor for fibrosing colonopathy, see PMID 15073899. That is why I chose Doctor's Best. It seems you can't trust the supplement industry to protect customers from harmful compounds, just like the pharmaceutical industry, who use many harmful compounds in formulations, e.g. aspartame, and yellow dye 5 & 6.
