The software is great, but you need it on a CD/DVC disk, not as a license because it is very, very difficult to download a HUGE software file from the Adobe website. I tried to download it and could not make the software work due to download errors.

Adobe Is The Best!
You can never go wrong with Adobe. This program allows you to do all kinds of creative photo-shopping with this program. Or, you can just do basic things like simple cropping or lighten or darken your photo. Wonderful program!
First off I have to say, if you have a choice of just downloading the app from online or purchasing the DVDs'. Get the DVD unless you have an hour or more to download the 2 gig file. I would have figured that Adobe would have some good DL bandwidth but it took me over an hour to download the file and I have fast internet. The install was fairly quick and simple. The platform looks like a website when loaded and has hints and how to's on the top of the screen. I like this as the instructional videos and links are very good for beginners. From this page you can launch your organizer which is a one stop area to organizer and list your photos and keep them in order which makes searching for them in the future a snap and not hours of guess work with is very painful for photographers. I consider myself an advanced amateur photographer with multiple cameras and lenses for all occasions and shooting conditions. I love landscape shooting more than any other type. This software make auto batch processing to clean up photos in a group or folder. Which is what I do. But before I run this batch I always go through the pictures and pull out my favorites that I would like to further enhance on my own. I love the preset filters and adjustments as with the preset it should you a grid box of possible changes and you pic the one that is best for you. (see quick fix, offers great photo choices of your corrected images) For photos that you would like to clean up or add to, Elements give you just about every conceivable option to change your photos, from mild to wild. I like the ability to make minute changes to lighting, color, sharpness, contrast etc. If you do not like the changes just revert back or don't save the picture upon exit. I used to shoot in Jpeg only as my previous free software only had the ability to make minor enhancement but this software has made me switch to RAW to make multiple creative changes. The batch processing is pretty quick, of course this depends on the number of photos and the processing power of your pc. This software is great for the amateur to the pro who doesn't need a copy of the full blown Photoshop
PHOTOSHOP ELEMENTS 19
Great improvements. Easier to use. Better color swatches.
See It In Action!
First of all, I downloaded my copy directly from the Adobe site and I haven't had any problems with it. I've included a video that shows some of the basic features. Here is a brief index of what is in the video. 0:00 Home Screen 1:08 Three Major Editing Areas (Quick, Guided, and Expert) 2:13 Create and Share 2:45 Quick Mode 3:36 Guided Mode 4:14 Color Pop in Guided Mode 5:30 Expert Mode 6:43 Remove Items 7:18 Digital Painting 8:00 What's New In Elements 2018 I've been using Photoshop Elements since version 2 and I still believe it is the best photo-editing software there is for under $100. This is the software program that my digital photography and digital painting students purchase for the college courses that I teach. If you are serious about editing photos this is the software program that I recommend. It does "most" of what the full version of Photoshop CC does. One of the nice features of learning Photoshop Elements is that there is a lot of free instructional materials on the internet. Plus, it is so similar to the full version of Photoshop CC that it is relatively easy to transfer that knowledge to the full version of Photoshop if you decide that you want to subscribe to Adobe's Photoshop Creative Cloud. With the three different modes (Quick, Guided, and Expert), there is something for everyone from beginner to advance. It is very easy to use the Quick and Guided features. The Expert mode can be challenging--but one again there are tons of free online materials to help you--plus there are lots of books. My favorite Photoshop books are by Scott Kelby. If you just want a fast and easy photo editor to use occasionally then there are many free options available on the internet. One of the best free editors is Sumo paint. For those of you who have older versions of Photoshop Elements and are wondering if it is worth the upgrade? My best recommendation would be to download the 30-day free trial and see if the new features are worth it for you. I keep upgrading because I need to stay current for the college courses I teach. Also, I like having the most current version of Photoshop Elements just in case someday Abode decides to make it only available by subscription like they did with the full version of Photoshop.
Not good if you're familiar with photoshop. Also the features don't work the best. Best to just learn photoshop
Not a hard copy
Not a hard copy! This is just a key for a digital download. It dose not inform you of this in the add. I was expecting a copy on either CD or memory stick. I feel the ad is misleading. The one star rating is for the ad not the program
