A slim profile and sleek brushed steel finish make up Adesso LED Torchieres. Simple and highly functional pieces, Adesso torchieres can add a modern touch to any room. Frosted uplights illuminate the room with warm, dimmable light. When combined with the LED Reading light option, our energy efficient torchieres are very useful. The reading light is controlled by a simple on/off toggle switch. Dimmer switches and controls are located on the pole controlling the uplight. This lamp has a black cord and is not smart outlet compatible. The LED bulbs are integrated into the lamp and are not replaceable, but last 50,000 hours.

Love it.
I have two of them, one bought a year ago, the other just a week ago. Great energy savings over the previously owned halogen torchieres, with plenty of up and down light!. Much better color light, not a fire hazard, and very beautiful styling. Assembly is modestly challenging for one person, easy for two to assemble. Best if used on a hard floor because of wobbling because of relatively small diameter base. Also, hard to maintain truly vertical attitude because of small base. Still a wonderful addition to any contemporary designed home.
