I purchased this keyboard to use with my laptop when working for extended periods of time. I make it a policy of my own to ONLY buy Logitech keyboards because of their excellent feel, and long-lasting quality. So you know, I've been building PC's and selecting replacement parts for people for over 20 years, and have always used Logitech.
That said, there is one slight layout design problem with this model. It has to do with the 5 keys over the cursor keys (Delete, Home, End, PgUp, PgDn)... They are arranged in an odd manner which causes a lot of mis-types when looking for the End key like you are used to on other keyboards. Instead of being in the bottom-middle of the array, the end key is up at the top-right. This is normally where the PgUp key is located.
I guess that will just take some getting used to. Other than that, the multimedia and added function buttons are all well thought out, and work just fine.
