We were looking for reasonably prices basketball shoe for my son who is just trying basketball for the first time. I wish there were more "plain" looking options in this style, the patterns on these are a little bit too loud for me, but my son likes the style and they fit him well. The black fabric on the top feels like felt, and might be a lint magnet. The soles of the shoes are white and will show dirt. Overall, seems to be a good pair of shoes for the price.
