Perfect Family Tent

Bought this to replace an old Coleman tent we had. Perfect size for our family of 4. Tall ceilings, easy access, great ventilation. Would highly recommend!

So spacious!

We have had many tents in the past and I tell you what, this is THE best tent we have owned! The set up is a breeze! The 2 rooms are so spacious and all the windows are wonderful! So, so glad that we purchased this one!

Keep looking!

The setup of this tent seems like it should be very simple. Cross the two black fiberglass poles in the sleeves and then the grey pole across the top. The poles go into plastic connectors. Trying to fit them into the plastic connectors is way more difficult than it needs to be. As each pole goes into the plastic connector, things become tighter. Think of a trampoline. By the time we were putting the 3rd pole into the connector, it was extremely difficult to make it fit. The poles were bending WAY more than I was comfortable with, making me think it was going to snap on its first use. The instructions provide little information about the best/easiest way to do this setup. Attach the grey pole first then the black ones? Grey, black, grey? Does it matter? My guess is we'll snap a pole within the first 5 uses of this tent, which is simply pathetic. Setting up the rest of the tent is fairly easy and the quality seems like typical Alps. It does have a strange 2 zipper design on the doors which makes no sense. One zipper goes along the bottom, while the other the rest of the way. I much prefer the standard zipper D type arrangement where two zippers go all the way around. This seems like a trip hazard waiting to happen. Maybe with time I will grow to love it, but first attempts with this have been horrible.
