4th Favorite Movie

Bought all these movies if & when my cable loses signal. Haven't fully watched this DVD yet. I've seen this movie about 8 times.
this is a young pic of the head actress

One of the best movies I've seen in a while!

Even though this movie is older, it is such an amazing look at such a serious, and common mental illness. I needed to watch and review it for my psychiatric rotation in nursing school but it is such a great movie that I decided to buy it. For 5 dollars? You can't beat that!

A Complicated But Fascinating mind,

A beautiful mind centers around the story of John Nash (Russell Crowe) and Alicia Nash (Jennifer Connelly). The character of john nash goes on to accomplish much success in both his professional and scholastic life due to his gift with the area of mathematics. The movie shows how nash’s talent even helps him obtain some prestigious work with the U.S. government. I also acknowledge that the other actors and actresses tie into some of the events surrounding nash and his wife. However, I have to admit that Jennifer Connelly’s portrayal as the wife , even though obviously female, came eerily close in the real-life personality depiction in the immense patience and kindness of my own husband(I must add that my spouse is obviously self-confident and in touch with both his sensitive and masculine sides). In summary, A Beautiful mind is both a serious and yet thought provoking drama.

Great film, wonderful price

I show this film to my high school science students. In addition to the science they learn diversity and tolerance.

Great movie, very poor condition.

It's a great film and I ordered it for my nursing class as an example of mental illness. Delivery to the store was fast but when I got it handed to me the case was smashed in half. Luckily the disc had popped out and survived. The customer service lady was nice and offered to return it for me, but being short on time with my class coming up I had to take it "as is." The moral of the story is always check the product in front of an employee before you leave.
