upgrade replacement
This replaces a fan/light combo that was installed around 1980. Although this is a bit smaller, it moves air better than the larger old one at low speed. Quiet. Closer to the bedroom ceiling makes the bedroom look bigger. Although my older home was rewired a few years ago, a trusted local electrician modified the mounting box and took a few minutes to install in for me. A few health problems slow me down at my age, so it was more sensible to have a young guy just do it
