Great tires but which direction are they designed to go?

I have purchased 1 set of these which I glued on myself and I just installed the new mounted ones. I am just trying to figure out if the point of the, "V" on the tread pattern is supposed to point forward or backward. I assume it would be forward to deflect any road debris, so that's how I run them. I have aTraxxas Sledge btw, running on 6s with optional 46 tooth spur and 18 pinion. It gets to 102 km/h max and I have only worn a bit of a groove in the first set. I found that having the 2 sets, is causing alot easier drifting even with the TMS on 75%. I was using slightly smaller off road tires on the front prior to the new set. I put the new ones on the rear and moved the older ones to the front. Anyways, if anyone knows the intended way that they are designed to run, please let me know. Thanks
