Amazing capacity for a counter depth unit!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this unit about a month ago and it's a great refrigerator/freezer in every way. Here are some of the reasons we think it was the best choice: 1. Amazing refrigerator capacity. Our old unit was a 22 cubic foot side buy side and this has so much more room. No longer have to push and pull items from behind each other; this refrigerator allows easy access to each and every item. Other units have the ice maker on the door while this has the ice maker in the door giving space for additional shelves on the left door. Brilliantly lighted and the shelf that allows tall items to be easily accommodated was well thought out. The full width drawer for deli or other items allows easy and fast access to party tray items as well as our assortment of cheeses. 2. The freezer holds a voluminous amount of food and the tray on the bottom left allows extra ice to be saved for parties or guests. This unit does not have the craft ice feature as we wanted the extra space for food items, although the in-door ice maker supplies plenty of ice for our needs and I am an ice hog, using ice all day. 3. The fingerprint resistant finish is great. Spouse hated the last stainless steel refrigerator as it always looked smudged and she was constantly cleaning it with spray cleaner. Not so with this unit, a soft cloth as recommended keeps it gleaming. 4. Sound. It is a bit noisier when running than our last unit, but the ice maker is quieter and I attribute the noise to the multiple cooling fans and the filter system that uses a timed fan to keep odors at bay. 5. We don't use the WiFi feature nor the Smart Grid feature. I have always believed that when you connect appliances to the web there is a potential for a hack or other intrusion that could impact the reliability and performance. IF we ever have a problem I can connect the WiFi to the service number and then disconnect again. We couldn't be happier with this unit. As with all appliances, time will tell how reliable the unit is. Frankly, we were advised to stay away from this brand due to the compressor issues but the warranty now covers the compressor for 10 years, so that goes a long way towards assuring consumer confidence.
LG is; Quality Reliability and excellent Service
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a believer in LG products.Primarily for 3 reasons. Quality of materials, reliability of product and for those few occasions I needed service. In my newly built home have LG washer and dryer, Refrigerator, built in wall oven and range top and of course an LG dishwasher. I have had LG products in my past homes as well. Quality at a very competitive price.
Good product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought it on June 13 and received on July 1st , it looks great I like it. My old LG refrigerator is from July 2007is so wonderful , so when I replaced I choose to buy LG, and I found the model LMXC22626S That I want. I have a a problem with ice maker on the first day, no water come in to water tray of ice maker. I called and talk to customer service, she is very helpful. She set a technician appointment to visit; however I cancelled it later because I did reset Ice maker and it work well until now.
