It's a lot bigger than it seems in the picture, and you need to assemble it yourself. The instructions are frustrating - just diagrams with no words or explanations, and deciphering them took about as much time as it did to execute them, and it was difficult, so be prepared. It doesn't say so in the description, but the instructions recommend having 2 people assemble it and I agree because there are a couple of pieces that require some bodily contortions to position AND see at the same time. I did it myself but it took me 3 days (not fulltime, of course, but quite a few hours). It does hold a lot of shoes, and you can use one slot for 2 or even 3 pair of sandals if you prop them up side by side. All the parts were included and the diagrams are complete, but they really should have included written explanations of some of the positioning so you don't have to stare at the tiny shapes and numbers over and over before they begin to make sense. I didn't see it at first but the 4 large round shelves, which are NOT interchangeable, ARE labeled A B C and D, just on their sides where it's easy to miss.
