Chest support brace is designed for post-operative support and immobilization of the chest area after open heart or thoracic surgery, sternotomy, sternum fractures, and rib fractures. The brace can be also used to relieve pain associated with intercostal neuralgia.

The brace is made of durable, lightweight, and flexible elastic cotton blend material, which is breathable and moisture wicking for increased comfort, thermoregulation, and moisture control. The properties of the fabric allow it to provide gentle compression and support, and adapt to the shape of the body without causing discomfort or restricting normal respiratory function and essential movement.

The brace features an anatomical design, which allows to evenly distribute pressure, while providing stable support to the sternum. Two adjustable shoulder straps crossed in the back offer additional support. Velcro fastening ensures easy on and off and adjustability of compression and fit. The texture of the fabric allows to attach the velcro fasteners anywhere on the brace, enabling a highly customizable fit.

The chest brace is equipped with a steel stay in the front and two firm yet flexible plastic stays on each side for additional stabilization and support for the sternum and ribs.

The slimline design of the brace and the ease of on and off make it possible to wear under or over regular clothes.
