Nordic Ware Tractor Cake Pan

It would be very hard to beat the durablity and thickness of this pan. It is awesome. The only think I would recommend is taking it for a test run with your recipe. Choose one that makes a moist cake b/c the tire area takes a lot of batter but the upper "cab" part is quite thin. The downfall is uneven baking (when the cab is done, the tire isn't). But, you could just make a simple syrup or some sort of "glaze" to pour over the warm cake and it will add back any moisture you need. Everyone was super impressed with the tractor cake outcome... get some baker's joy to make sure the cake releases perfectly and you are good to go! It is a fun pan. I might try breads next time.
