Gotham Knights: The Official Collector's Compendium, (Hardcover)

First, the book arrived with the bottom corners and inside pages badly bumped from poor packaging: I went with Walmart as the seller. They mailed it in an oversized thin cardboard envelope. The book isn't shrink-wrapped. I briefly but carefully looked at it before deciding to return it. If it had been a better book, I would have gone for an exchange but it's not worth it. Second, the book is a mix between an art book and game guide. It doesn't accomplish either. I get the impression that it was finished long before the game actually was. Something as basic as a trophy/achievement list is completely absent, much less any tips of obtaining them. There are no virtually no details on crafting. If you were looking for specifics, forget it. It's not there. Here's the entirety on gear: "Gear can be crafted and equipped without returning to the Belfry." That's it, one empty sentence. That's an good epitome for the entire book: empty of meaningful content. For the art side, the pictures, often screen captures or early concept art, are too small to be fully appreciated. It's a lazy assembly of pictures meant to take up space.
