With a 250 pound capacity, there should be no hesitation in getting this and setting it up. It will easily support one or two children, with absolutely no issue. Assembly was easy and straightforward, the materials are study and very stable, and I love being able to use the space underneath for other things. (Under Bed Storage = awesome!) Toy buckets, chairs, a small desk, almost anything you want, will fit under the space saving design. The slide is super fun and the materials are high quality throughout. I appreciate the mixed materials used in creating the bed.. they are pine solid wood, plywood and medium-density fiberboard and are all perfectly placed and designed for worry-free enjoyment. absolutely love this bunk bed for my little girl. we have made the bottom half into a beautiful princess play area. put up pink see through curtains. pretty easy assembly to do on my own. i do buy and put stuff together all the time. so far it is very sturdy and holds both of us at once! she is only 4 but totally see this lasting for years until she no longer wants this bed. doesnt feel cheap and way better then some others i had bought in the past. she is able to add stickers and hang up different stuff from her new bed. i love that it is up off the ground to provide storage or a great play area. i totally could have used this bunk bed when my sons were smaller and could see it being a great play area for cars and trucks. i would really really recommend for anyone that has small rooms or just need extra place for your child to play. you will not regret buying this bed. extremely happy with mine and know whoever gets one will love it.
